Minoru Nagahara
Minoru Nagahara was born in Hokkaido, Japan in 1935. He entered Kumasaka Kogei, a furniture company in 1951. In 1963, he went to West Germany as a technical trainee. After returning to Asahikawa in 1965, he worked for Asahikawa Industrial Arts Institute. In 1968, he established Interior Center Co., Ltd. (present Conde House). He is now the company’s chairman of the board of directors. He received of numerous awards: the Japan Interior Designers’ Association Award, the Kitaro Kunni Industrial Design Award, the Hokkaido Industrial Contribution Award, and the Hokkaido Shimbun Cultural Award.Learn more about
