The Haiku Sofa is designed with just a few lines to convey an open, yet encompassing feeling. The clear outline of the outer shell is juxtaposed against the soft interior, providing an intimate sense of acoustic and visual privacy. To highlight the contrast between the outer shell and the interior, a wide variety of fabrics can be mixed or matched. The voluminous body is contrasted by slender legs, giving the impression that the sofa is almost hovering above the ground.

Fully upholstered sofa with separate seat cushion. Inner frame of high pressure polyurethane foam, reinforced with a steel frame. Removable seat cushion in HR or CMHR-foam. Seat cushion has removable cover. The rear side of the sofa is available in fabric or leather. The front side is available in fabric only. Legs of powder coated steel. Three decorative back cushions included.

Incl. 3 cushions in the same upholstery as front side.

Note: Front side upholstery: Fabric only.

GamFratesi

GamFratesi

GamFratesi Studio was founded in 2006 by Danish architect Stine Gam and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi. The studio is based in Copenhagen. Stine and Enrico draw on the classic Danish furniture and craft tradition as well as the classic Italian intellectual and conceptual approach. Understanding a tradition and addressing it actively in the workshop makes it possible to expand on it. From this cross-cultural substrate they create furniture that respectfully reflects tradition while also featuring unique embedded stories, symbols and associations, often expressed in a minimalist idiom.
