Designed by Shigeyuki Hasegawa, Nami bench was one of the winning works from the International Furniture Design Competition in Asahikawa in 2005. The seat is made of solid wood, with the surface being carved into Zen-style wavy lines. A unique Japanese-style bench requires high level wood crafting skills to produce.
