Sophie Lafont
Sophie Lafont creates furniture that combines bronze with delicate stones such as marble and alabaster. The vases she takes weeks to polish look like living objects with their blue veins crossing the translucid stone. Sophie’s range also includes a surrealistic aluminium table with flared feet, metal lamps, a see-through “cloud” pedestal table as light as a feather and a refined couch made in black wrought iron. Sophie Lafont, who founded her own brand in 2005, is represented in Paris by Christian Liaigre.
