This minimalist and highly elaborate chair is a re-design of the classic model No. 14. The designer divided its six pieces by two and 002 emerged – a chair made from only three pieces. Two of them – the manually processed bends – are identical and form legs, backrest and armrests all in one.

Jaroslav Juřica

Jaroslav Juřica was born in 1980. Graduated in product design from Brno University of Technology and got masters degree from Swedish Lund University. In 2008, he worked in the Dutch Demakersvan studio and in the same year he attended the S.T.A.R. Design programme organised in collaboration with the NASA Johnson Space Centre. In 2010, he graduated at sculpting with professor Michal Gabriel at the Faculty of Fine Arts where he created the +20% Extra object. The work made it to the finals of the Global Warming competition organised by the Dutch Droog Design foundation.
