Featuring a five-legged castor base, the AAC 153 combines optimal functionality with modern aesthetics. Retaining the same high backrest and generous seat that characterises the series, the base is designed with a gas lift that can adjust the seat height by a range of 14cm. Available in standard and soft quilted upholstery options, with a wide choice of fabrics and base finishes, making it suitable for a broad range of public and private contexts.

Hee Welling

Hee Welling

Hee Welling is a Danish furniture designer who founded his own studio in Copenhagen in 2003. The son of a cabinetmaker, Welling’s fascination with production techniques, materials, and machinery was fired as a child. He went onto study at The University of Art and Design in Helsinki, and received his master’s degree in furniture design from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Welling has received a number of design awards, including the Bo Bedre Award (Denmark), Good Design Award (USA), and has been nominated as Danish designer of the year in 2013 and 2014.
