Featuring a swivel base, the About A Chair AAC 10 conveys a more formal expression than its wooden-legged counterparts from the collection. Retaining the same open, curved shell and legs that fan out from the centred base, it has a cast aluminium swivel base in polished or powder coated finishes, with the post-consumer recycled plastic shell offered in a wide palette of contemporary colours and multiple front upholstery options. Hee Welling

Hee Welling

Hee Welling is a Danish furniture designer who founded his own studio in Copenhagen in 2003. The son of a cabinetmaker, Welling’s fascination with production techniques, materials, and machinery was fired as a child. He went onto study at The University of Art and Design in Helsinki, and received his master’s degree in furniture design from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Welling has received a number of design awards, including the Bo Bedre Award (Denmark), Good Design Award (USA), and has been nominated as Danish designer of the year in 2013 and 2014.
