The Ambit Rail Lamp is characterized by its simple lines and elegant shapes, bringing a refined light to any space. With its shades being made of handspun aluminum, the Ambit Rail Lamp features white interiors that provide a contrast to its outside shade while enhancing the light emitted into the room of any home, office or hospitality space.

Product Material
Rail made from cast and extruded aluminum. Shades in spun aluminum with a rubber cord and steel wires. Made from old brazier traditions, the lampshades are press spun by hand. Hereafter, the lampshades are polished and painted by hand. The rail is cut from tubes that are adjusted to fit each other on a lathe machine.

TAF Studio

Gabriella Lenke and Mattias Ståhlbom founded TAF in 2002. The Stockholm-based studio has been working internationally from the outset for private clients, institutions and companies within architecture and design. Through their projects, TAF’s contribution to the development of the contemporary Scandinavian design scene is considerable, and the studio is represented at Nationalmuseum in Stockholm and the design museum in Copenhagen. In 2017 TAF received the Bruno Mathsson Award, one of the Nordic region’s foremost honours in design.
