The 01 Series takes inspiration from chairs commonly found in Nordic churches since the early 20th century. Originally from Great Britain, these geometric chairs were imported to Scandinavia and have come to represent the democratic ideals that epitomise Frama’s design philosophy.

The Bar Chair 01 is a linear extension of this study, adapted for bars in modern spaces. Premium grade, regionally sourced Baltic Birch serves as a complementary raw material to the design’s honest simplicity. And in homage to traditional production methods, its joints are intentionally left exposed.

Works well as a bar or kitchen stool.
Stackable up to 4 chairs.
Will develop a unique wood patina as it ages.

Solid birch wood frame.
Grade A’ birch plywood seat.
