This bench has indoor or outdoor types. Oak wood, with a gorgeous wood grain, was selected for the indoor-use model while pine wood, transformed into a form that resists decay by subjecting the wood to acetylation, was selected for the outdoor-use model. The thick wood parts provide a sense of stability and the natural finish of the wood grain creates a beautiful appearance. Jasper Morrison

Jasper Morrison was born in London in 1959, graduated in Design from Kingston Polytechnic in 1982, and set up his Office in London in 1986. In the 2000s Jasper began consultancies with Muji and Samsung. In 2006 he collaborated with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa on the exhibition Super Normal at Axis Gallery, Tokyo. Since 2010 he has collaborated with Spanish companies Camper, Kettal and Andreu World, and US companies Maharam and Emeco. Jasper Morrison has been a Royal Designer for Industry since 2001. Jasper Morrison Ltd currently has offices in London, Tokyo and Paris.
