Calmo is a sofa concept designed for contemporary needs in both private and public spaces. The Ottoman features an interchangeable top cushion, in level with the seat of the corresponding sofas and lounge chairs in the series.

Ottoman with separate seat cushion. Inner frame of wood with nozag springs. Available in fabric or leather. Cushions available in foam core with down wrap or solid foam (CMHR or HR). External cover is non-removable. Cushion cover are removable. Leg trestles in solid wood or steel. Mounted with plastic glides. Felt glides available.

Portuguese-born, London-based designer Hugo Passos designs everyday objects that are familiar and enjoyable, both in form and use. Passos’ work is inspired by the designer’s ongoing interest in the human scale of everyday objects. Passos stays true to his view that designs must first and foremost serve their purpose and “do what they’re supposed to”. Hugo Passos opened design studio in 2012. His products for Monocle magazine as well as other works have been featured at SaloneSatellite in Milan and the London Design Festival.
