Mieke Cuppen
Mieke Cuppen has focused on designing tableware from the outset upon launching her design studio in Rotterdam in 2009 following completion of her studies at the Design Academy Eindhoven. In 2011 She was rewarded with the Mercure Culture Price for her tableware design for this hotel chain. She enjoys working with porcelain, stoneware, glass, brass, bagasse and bamboo fibre and have a passion for working with new materials and techniques. Her products stand out for their simplicity, elegance and contemporary look.
