Folke Pålsson
Danish designer Folke Pålsson was part of the design collective at FDB (Fællesforeningen for Danmarks Brugsforeninger), a cooperative established after the Second World War with the aim of democratizing design. Inspired in part by the German Bauhaus movement, FDB sought to create high-quality, beautiful and durable furniture at prices accessible to everyday people. Pålsson’s best-known design is the J77 chair, now relaunched by HAY.
