Handsome and very beautifully carved, the Mandeston urn can be placed on a plinth, placed on a sideboard or console table or lifted high up and put on brackets each side of an important mirror. The joyous carving, which is of the same class as our Godwyn and Saragossa tables, is a marvellous example of classicism today.
