The Nelson Cigar Bubble Pendant is an elegant, elongated ceiling lamp with parallel lines that accentuate its silhouette. This lamp will warm up any interior with soft light as it floats overhead. The timeless Nelson Bubble Lamps were originally designed in 1952.

The Nelson Cigar Bubble Pendant casts a soft, even light as it is hung from the ceiling with the help of a plate and a 1.8-metre-long cord. It is available in small, medium, large and extra-large sizes.

Each lamp comes with a 51/4" brushed, nickel-plated steel ceiling plate and a 6' cord. Bulb not included.

George Nelson

George Nelson

George Nelson was born in Hartford in 1908. He studied architecture at Yale University. A fellowship enabled him to study at the American Academy in Rome from 1932 to 1934. In Europe, he became acquainted with the major architectural works and leading protagonists of modernism. As a design director at Herman Miller, He also opened his own design office in 1947, George Nelson Associates, Inc., worked together with such outstanding employees to create countless products and objects, some of which are now regarded as icons of mid-century modernism. George Nelson died in New York in 1986.
