Michel Charlot

Michel Charlot is an industrial designer born in lausanne in 1984. Graduated from the ECAL/University of Art and Design Lausanne in 2009 and worked for Jasper Morrison ltd. In 2011, he started developing products for companies such as Vitra, Belux and kettal . He aims at creating intuitive products in a constant quest for efficiency in conception, production and design. Since January 2013 he teaches industrial design at ECAL and at the Tama Art University in Tokyo. In 2013 U-turn, first product designed with Belux, was awarded with the “Design Preis Schweiz” and "Swiss Design Award".
