Designed in 1971, Panthella stands out as one of Verner Panton’s design icons with its unique expression where both the stand and the shade served as a reflector, thanks to the organic shapes that are characteristic of the Danish designer.The Panthella Portable Lamp is a downscaled edition of Verner Panton’s popular Panthella 400 Table lamp, which makes for easy placement on windowsills, shelves, or tables. Regardless of which colour or material you choose, the Panthella Portable Lamp will provide exceptional light to all surroundings.

Light concept
This portable table lamp emits a glare-free, soft, and comfortable light. The opaque shade variants reflects the light downwards and provides pleasant illumination created by the inner white painted shade and the reflection from the trumpet-shaped stem, while the opal variants provides gentle illumination and subtle ambience due to the transparency and the reflection of the downward light on the inner side of the shade.

Shades: Injection moulded acrylic (PMMA).
Diffuser: Injection moulded opal polycarbonate.
Base and Housing: Injection molded ABS.

Opal shades in Original Opal Blue Grey, Original Opal Red, Original Opal Orange, Original Opal Green, and Original Opal Brown

Mounting:
USB-C to USB-C cord for standard USB adapter. Touch switch on top nut. Light indicator under base when charging. Step dimming function. Power off: Medium press. Lock/Unlock: Long press. Battery: Rechargeable and replaceable.

Among the giants of Danish design, Verner Panton (1926-1998) established a unique reputation for his exuberant originality and tireless experimentation. Panton created lamps, furniture and textiles – and was also a sought-after interior designer. Although he was at the forefront of mid-century Danish Modern, Panton’s contribution was anything but mainstream.
