The PH 2/2 Luna Aged Brass Opal Table Lamp features Poul Henningsen’s distinctive three-shade system with three-layered mouth-blown opal white glass, which is glossy on the outside and sandblasted matte on the inner side, ensuring both a perfect downward-directed light and a soft, diffused all-round light for ideal ambient illumination.

Materials
Shades: White opal three layered mouth-blown glass.
Bottom diffuser: Frosted glass.
Socket housing, shadeholder, stem, base and switch: Aged brass, with hairlines and lacquered.

Finish
Lacquered aged brass with hairlines and three layered mouth-blown opal glass with sandblasted matt inner side.

Class & light source
Ingress protection IP20. Electric shock protection II w/o ground.

Mounting
2.5 m. Black textile cable with plug. Aged brass switch.

Information
Please note that the aged brass has been lacquered, ensuring that its finish remains unchanged over time. The adjustable upper part of the lamp can be tilted 45 degrees to the right or left by turning the shade holder and tightening the finger screw.

Poul Henningsen

Poul Henningsen was born in Copenhagen by the famous Danish writer. He never graduated as an architect, but studied at The Technical School at Frederiksberg, and then at Technical College in Copenhagen. He started practicing traditional functionalistic architecture, but over the years his interests focus mainly on lighting. He is the legendary creator of the lighting series carrying his name; PH. He can be said to be the world’s first lighting architect. PH devoted his entire career to investigating the importance of light for our well being.
