Phi Coffee Pot | Highlight image
The Phi collection, named after the Greek letter for the golden number - that perfect ratio of proportions, a notion dear to Jean Puiforcat - consists of tasting tools for coffee, tea and infusions. Various items for serving and savoring hot drinks, such as coffee and tea pots, sugar and milk containers, and matching serving trays, as well as cups and spoons of different formats, crafted in silver plated brass, American walnut and glass.

Phi's timeless design was created by Normal Studio. The designers, Jean-François Dingjian and Eloi Chafaï, practice what they call themselves an "Elementary Design". Or, more precisely, a work on the right form, one that exalts the quality of use and expresses simplicity and refinement in the details.

Normal Studio

Under the name of Normal Studio, Jean-François Dingjian and Eloi Chafaï defend Elementary Design. These two creators are less attached to the formal search for an object than to the tool that will manufacture it. Behind their name lies an appetite for the right shapes. Deeply attached to the social and cultural values of design, these authors produce timeless objects that go against fashions and postures. In 2016, Normal Studio celebrated its tenth annivesary on the French scene, a presence already noticed by numerous awards.
