Leon Ransmeier
Leon Ransmeier was born in New York in 1979. In 2001, he graduated with a B.F.A. in furniture design from the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence.
In 2004, Ransmeier founded Ransmeier Inc., an industrial design practice based in New York City. In 2007, he co-founded the design firm DBA with partners Erik Wysocan and Patrick Sarkissian, where he worked as creative director of design for three years.
His work is included in the permanent collections of the museums and was featured in the 2010 National Design Triennial, “Why Design Now?.”
