Jan Padrnos

Jan Padrnos was born in 1967. He was famous by his minimalist and inventive furniture. He graduated from the Czech Technical University and worked several years for the company Ahrend. In 2000, He founded the studio Blackbox, which specializes in providing services in design and architecture. He works with horizontal and verticals, his designs are airy and in spite of using such materials as stainless steel or, on the contrary, corroded metal, feel light. He exhibited at shows of modern design under the label of his studio, and his works were part of several collections of Czech design.
