Bill Sofield

Bill Sofield

Bill Sofield was described by Interior Design magazine as “a choreographer of spaces. He was considered one of the most thoughtful design talents of his generation and a true master of Modernism. Sofield believes that design must serve the client’s individual needs and function as beautifully as it looks. His design approach introduces creative tension that allows the character of a room to reveal itself over time. Sofield's furniture and product design map out each object’s future, designing it to improve with use and age, as it eventually becomes a treasured heirloom.
