Originally created in the late 1960s, the BT1001 Pendant No 1 was designed by prolific Danish architects Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup. Claus Bonderup & Torsten Thorup

After graduating from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts’ School of Architecture in Copenhagen in 1969, Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup began a collaboration that led them to join forces on design projects across the globe for more than 20 years. In 1985, the pair established Torsten Thorup & Claus Bonderup Architects, completing many successful projects in the years that followed, including private residences, store interiors, hotels and housing.
