Designed by Josef Hoffmann for TON, the Model 811 is a classic of bentwood furniture. It was originally created for the Palais Stoclet in Brussels in 1906, and its design combines the minimalist lines of the Viennese Secession with the traditional Thonet bentwood technique. The result is a chair that is both visually light and structurally robust.
