Baby Backrest for High Chair specifically for Nanna Ditzel's ND54 High Chair. Nanna Ditzel’s ND54 Dining Chair is a beautiful and enduring piece of design, adaptable to the needs of growing children. Minimalist and sturdy, the FSC®-certified beech wood chair can be used by children up to 15 kg, providing a safe sitting place for them while dining at the table. Finished with matt lacquer for easy cleaning, it is also fitted with saddle leather straps to secure baby in place, as well as an optional back rest for additional comfort. Three stainless steel nameplates for engraving allow you to personalize the chair and pass it down through generations as a family heirloom.

Nanna Ditzel

Nanna Ditzel

Nanna Ditzel was born in Denmark in 1923. She studied at the School of Arts and Crafts and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. She was a pioneer in various disciplines such as cabinet making, jewellery, tableware, and textiles. Together with her husband Jørgen Ditzel, they established their own design studio in 1946. She had a pronounced sense of material, and even after Jørgen Ditzel’s death in 1961, she continued to design and in 1968, she opened Interspace in London. Nanna passed away in 2005, was one of most renowned Danish designers, and throughout her life she was awarded numerous prizes.
