A high-style variation on the 19th century gondola form. Curved back with very refined slope arms and strong convergence. Relatively deep loose cushion seat. Square tapered legs. This deep, low slung, thoroughly modern twist on a European classic was designed for the designer's home in D.C. With a very small footprint, this design easily works in a bedroom or floating in a small setting within a larger room. Conceivably an option in lieu of a slipper chair.
