The Perfect Pleat Pendant by Visual Comfort isn't as hyperbolic a title as you might think. Its drum-shaped body is made of Pleated Silk that has been segmented and stitched in a pleasantly symmetrical fashion. These subtle decorative qualities are beautifully enhanced in the light of internal sources, which permeate the shade and provide a backlight for all of its intricate nooks and crannies. Supported by a low-profile metal chain and canopy.

Barbara founded her Los Angeles design firm in 1985. Her practice has grown to international renown and her interiors and product design are celebrated through partnerships that include furniture, lighting, textiles, bedding, carpets, crystal, plumbing and tile. More recently, with thirty plus years in the business, Barbara Barry has taken on private consulting for businesses looking to elevate their brand aesthetic and partnerships.
